NBA Playoffs...Kobe

How about Shaq and Phoenix. They lost their third straight game last night. It is a good thing the Heat traded him when they did. It will be the difference in the Heat turning their franchise around.

I watched some of the Lakers game the other night, and I felt like Kobe Bryant was the best player since Michael Jordan. Then I watched Duncan last night and remembered he is one of the best of all time as well. Then...Garnett too...There are too many to name, but I realized the NBA is much better than I thought it was...Who do you think the best player in the league is???

If you have not seen this yet, it is very cool.

Is it real or fake?

More Shooting Tips

Earlier I went over three important aspects of shooting.

Here is a breakdown of 5 tips.

1. Same old...Bend your knees

2. Wrist Back

3. Ball must get past the front of the rim or it will never go in.

4. Do not come up or begin to unbend your knees until you begin to shoot

5. The follow through is as important to the finish of your shot as a period is at the end of a sentence. Therfore, the shot is not complete unless you hold your follow through!!!

More tips to come later.

Quote of the Day

"A lot of late nights in the gym, a lot of early mornings, especially when your friends are going out, you're going to the gym, those are the sacrifices that you have to make if you want to be an NBA basketball player.” -- Jason Kidd

NBA Playoff Outlook

Here are my picks!

WEST
San Antonio vs. LA in West finals.

SA will actually lose their title as this could be Kobe's year.

EAST
Boston vs. Detroit

Boston will pull it out in 6.

FINALS
Boston over LA in a 7 Game series.

THE NBA IS BACK this year!!!

Kansas

So they proved that you never give up no matter who much you are losing and no matter how much time is left. I thought Memphis had won, but Kansas had no intentions of losing. I just ordered the gift for our pool winner.

Also, here is a new quote:

It is not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the Dog....

MLB Opening Day and Final Four

Baseball season began with a bang yesterday. The High Paid Tigers got upset by the low paid Royals, the Marlins looked as bad as they could, and the Yankees were rained out. Look out for the Mariners this year as they seem to have a nice all around squad. Anyone think the Mets are the best in the NL? I do! The team to beat though is still the Red Sox. I think they will win the World Series again!

Okay, so the Final Four are all 1 seeds. First time ever! Pretty amazing that it never happened before. I still think Memphis will win it all. Calipari is due.
More importantly, it Stephen Curry is returning to Davidson next year. I wonder how they will be looked at before the season. I bet they will be back to the Elite Eight! Anyways, enjoy the week. Lots of baseball, Final Four, and soon, the NBA playoffs!

A Nice Feature on Stephen Curry
