Basketball Camp and Draft Preview

I will be running two basketball camps in August, and that will be at the Beth Am Basketball gym. They will be held August 4th - 8th and August 16th and 17th. This will be an exciting time for any kids involved. We will be learning the Courts 1on1 way and 21st Century Coaching style. In other words, it will be as fun as any camp there is...

Ayways, here is what should happen. Rose Goes first...That is obvious....

The real question is about the Heat. Do they pass up on Beasley and trade for a lower pick and veteran. Riley as everyone knows, has a history of passing on young players, and he was lucky with Wade. I believe he will go for a playoff push and trade the pick.... Then you will see OJ Mayo on the Heat with another veteran scorer up front. If he pulls the right deal, it will be genious. I am not confident he will acquire a good enough player for the pick.....After these three players, the rest of the draft is even game......

Back from the honeymoon...and How bout the Celts

So I just got back from Italy, so my apologies for not posting...

Anyways, The Celts did it. They were by far the best team in the sense of that word.

No one cared about themselves over the family they have...Just look at this picture!

Here is a great quote you should all follow by the Great Celtic Larry Bird!

"When I was young, I never wanted to leave the court until I got things exactly correct. My dream was to become a pro." -- Larry Bird

That is the key....It is about learning the skill correctly more than anything else.

Here we go...Celts/Lakers

Kobe, Gasol, Odom......Garnett, Pierce, R. Allen.....Which team has the better 3?

Fisher, Walton etc...Rondo, Perkins etc... Which team has better role players?

I believe the Lakers will win it all because Kobe Bryant is too good. If they don't it will prove him to be overrated. That might seem unfair, but MJ never lost in the finals, and that is who he unjustly gets compared to. He will never be like Mike!
